The story behind the Nana Planter:
Growing up, my family and I (Em), would travel to see my grandparents in Texas. My Nana was a plant person through and through, and their house was covered in house plants (not to mention the landscaping on their property was incredible!)
I have fond memories of sneaking snacks from the kitchen, and admiring my Nana's violets flourishing in the kitchen nook windowsill. Once she passed in 2021, she left me one of her traditional African Violet planters, and it now lives in my studio window, with a violet thriving in it!
These planters can be used for violets, and other small house plants that prefer bottom watering. The insert is only glazed on the rim, leaving the inside porous and allowing water to seep into the plant as it needs it.

Insert -4 inches wide, measuring inside. 3 inches deep.
Base - 5.25 inches wide, 3.75 inches tall, 3.75 inch footprint.
